About the role#
This is a 4-month co-op position for the Winter 2027 term, running from January to April. You will work with the Enterprise Chief Controls Office (ECCO), a group focused on risk ownership and operational excellence. This role involves data analysis and engineering tasks to support reporting consistency and non-financial risk management at the enterprise level.
What you'll do#
- Analyze, design, and deliver reporting solutions using internal analytics tools.
- Develop and enhance reporting dashboards to meet new business requirements.
- Perform data reconciliation and validation checks to ensure accuracy across platforms.
- Support AI tool development initiatives through advanced analytics and prompt engineering.
- Apply data warehouse concepts and methodologies to support efficient data architectures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at a Canadian post-secondary institution in data science, computer science, mathematics, or statistics.
- Experience with relational databases and data management methodologies like data modeling and ETL.
- Proficiency in programming for data analysis, specifically Python, SQL, and VBA.
- Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
