About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to work within our Performance department. You will work under the supervision of a senior team member to analyze engine data from test benches or in-service operations. The role focuses on technical development, data analysis, and collaboration within a professional engineering environment.
What you'll do#
- Analyze engine data using various computer tools.
- Modify data reduction tools and assumptions.
- Develop Python tools to support the review and validation of test data.
- Review data and compare findings against analytical predictions from thermodynamic engine models.
- Present your results and publish them in internal memos.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university for the duration of the internship.
- Completion of at least three years of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Excellent knowledge of thermodynamics and aerodynamics.
- Functional English language skills to read technical documentation and communicate with international colleagues.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Intermediate or advanced programming skills in Python, C++, Matlab, Fortran, or VBA are considered assets.

- Location: Longueuil, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23, 2027).
- Modality: This is a full-time, on-site position requiring presence at our facility from Monday to Friday.
- Status: This is a paid internship.
