About the role#
This is a full-time, 8-month engineering co-op position based in Surrey, British Columbia. You will work with engineers and managers across different departments to support the design and operation of natural gas facilities and pipelines. The role starts in January 2027.
What you'll do#
- Design natural gas facilities and pipelines, including equipment selection and stress analysis.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to complete capital projects.
- Perform engineering assessments to identify infrastructure deficiencies and opportunities.
- Write technical reports and proposals for existing and proposed systems.
- Research and develop design standards while recommending process improvements.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant company and industry codes and standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Engineering program, preferably in your third or fourth year.
- Active enrollment in a formal co-op program.
- Proficiency with CAD applications and Microsoft Office tools like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to interpret mechanical and P&ID drawings for piping systems.
- Experience writing reports and memos in a corporate setting.
- Strong public speaking skills.
- A valid driver's license.

- Compensation: $25.68 to $28.70 per hour.
