About the role#
This internship supports the Hybrid-Electric Propulsion (HEP) and New Small Engine (NSE) program management teams. You will contribute to the development of new hybrid-electric propulsion technology designed to improve aircraft efficiency, reduce fuel consumption, and lower emissions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Longueuil, Quebec, running from January 5 to April 23, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Track machining stages of prototypes to support engine tests.
- Review instrumentation changes required for data acquisition.
- Conduct structural, fluid, or durability analyses of engine components.
- Manage multiple sub-projects on a daily basis.
- Assist colleagues and contribute to the advancement of team missions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a third- or fourth-year undergraduate or master's student at a Canadian university.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Strong communication skills in both French and English, spoken and written.
- Ability to work on-site in Longueuil.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure with changing priorities.
- Familiarity with project management principles.

- Modality: On-site, Monday to Friday with flexible hours.
- Requirements: Candidates must pass a criminal background check and obtain necessary clearances for handling controlled goods.
