About the role#
We are looking for an Engineering Co-op student to join our team for the Winter 2027 term. This role is based on-site in Chipman, New Brunswick. You will gain hands-on experience in a sawmill environment while contributing to real production and improvement projects.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate projects by working with contractors and mill personnel to plan and execute work packages.
- Lead specific projects alongside sawmill staff and millwrights.
- Collaborate with senior management and site leaders to drive site-wide improvements.
- Champion safety, quality, and efficiency on the production floor.
- Learn sawmill operations and identify new areas for process improvement.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Civil Engineering program with plans to return to school.
- Good academic standing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High energy and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and shifting priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong administrative skills.
