About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience within our Manufacturing Operations team. You will work alongside experienced managers to develop skills in team supervision, production operations, and continuous improvement. The role is designed to prepare students for future leadership and management opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Support the day-to-day supervision of production activities.
- Work directly with employees on the production floor to support team engagement.
- Promote a safe and respectful work environment while supporting Health & Safety initiatives.
- Contribute to the achievement of quality, productivity, and delivery targets.
- Participate in performance analysis, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement principles is an asset.
- Leadership potential and strong analytical skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Montreal, Quebec (St. Laurent).
- Term: Winter 2027, starting January 4th, 2027, for a duration of 4 or 6 months.
- Modality: On-site.
- Shift options: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. or 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.
