About the role#
The Flight Operations Technology & AI Intern supports the RAVN Aerospace team by improving internal processes and systems. You will work alongside pilots, engineers, and operational leaders to refine how the company manages flight schedules, resources, and data. This role focuses on hands-on project work, moving ideas from concept to prototype and deployment.
What you'll do#
- Design better processes and develop tools to improve flight operations.
- Automate repetitive manual tasks.
- Build dashboards and lightweight applications.
- Organize and prepare operational data for analytics and decision support.
- Explore practical applications of artificial intelligence within aviation operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university degree program.
- Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with personnel.
- Must be lawfully eligible to work in the United States.
Location & details#
- Location: Salt Lake City, Utah (Hybrid or remote options available).
- Term: Fall 2026 semester.
- Schedule: Part-time, 10-20 hours per week.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
