About the role#
Join the Corporate Information Technology team in Pittsburgh for a 12-week internship in Summer 2027. You will work on real-world challenges, gain hands-on experience with Python, OCI, and Azure, and collaborate with developers and data scientists. This is a paid position that offers networking opportunities and engagement in volunteer and social activities.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with developers and data scientists to develop, test, and deploy AI models.
- Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis on business and manufacturing process data.
- Research recent advancements in AI and machine learning to provide insights to leadership.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and document experiments and code.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new information technologies.
- Interact with global business customers to gather requirements and solicit feedback on delivered products.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related IT field.
- Expected graduation date in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Demonstrated participation in internships, work, research, or extracurricular activities.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Preferred: Previous IT internship experience, project experience with security tools, and strong reporting writing skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- Modality: Hybrid with remote work capability.
- Compensation: $20 to $22 per hour.
- Relocation: A $3,600 stipend is provided for students located 50 or more miles from the internship site.
