About the role#
Raytheon Technologies is looking for a Software Platform Intern to join our team in Richardson, Texas, for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position. You will support the development, deployment, and maintenance of systems designed to process and disseminate intelligence data for national defense missions.
What you'll do#
- Support infrastructure and DevOps build and automation activities.
- Assist in the development, documentation, and maintenance of operations concepts and requirements.
- Integrate multiple software and hardware subsystems.
- Use continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to support development processes.
- Apply engineering principles and concepts to solve technical problems.
- Work with cloud technologies to optimize platform performance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an applicable discipline.
- Experience applying basic engineering principles and concepts.
- Experience working within a collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- You must be a U.S. citizen capable of obtaining and maintaining a U.S. government security clearance.
