About the role#
Raytheon Technologies is seeking a Software Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This position is based in Huntsville, Alabama, and requires you to work on-site. You will join the Software Sensors: Ground Radars & Platforms Department to support the full software life cycle for mission-critical applications.
What you'll do#
- Support the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications for military and commercial programs.
- Solve complex technical system and software integration problems.
- Collaborate with software and systems engineers to design and implement solutions.
- Work across the entire development life cycle, from initial requirements and design to integration and final testing.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
- An active Secret security clearance is required before your start date.
- Programming experience with object-oriented languages such as C++, C#, or Java.
- Experience developing software in a Linux environment.
- An understanding of software systems design, integration, and management.
