About the role#
This internship program offers students the chance to gain experience in materials management and logistics within the aviation and aerospace manufacturing sector. You will join the Integrated Business Planning organization to support core operations during the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in East Hartford, Connecticut.
What you'll do#
- Support the Integrated Business Planning team with demand and supply planning, inventory management, and capacity planning.
- Assist professionals in planning material requirements for production processes, including new engine assembly and spare part forecasting.
- Contribute to processes that support on-time engine delivery and improve planning workflows.
- Work cross-functionally in office settings and engage directly on the shop floor to support daily operations.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Completion of at least 30 credit hours before the start of the internship.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
