About the role#
Collins Aerospace is hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Burnsville, Minnesota. You will work with a cross-functional team including production leaders, technicians, and design engineers to support manufacturing operations and solve technical challenges.
What you'll do#
- Support production teams through technical troubleshooting, process updates, and documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering staff to address manufacturing issues and improve product quality.
- Gain hands-on experience with the software and operational tools used in our manufacturing processes.
- Work on process optimization projects to help improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Assist in the development of new manufacturing techniques and technologies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Advanced degree program in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with CAD software, with a preference for CREO.
- You must be a U.S. Person as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20) or 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
