About the role#
This internship is a 10 to 12-week program for students to gain corporate experience in operations and continuous improvement. You will work on-site at our Iron Mountain facility during the summer of 2027. The role focuses on supporting panel and electrical equipment testing through performance tracking and process improvement initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Streamline team metrics and reporting processes.
- Support feedback loops between manufacturing and engineering teams to drive production improvements.
- Assist in the testing and validation of relay panels and electrical equipment systems.
- Manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks.
- Present your work to the local management team at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the internship period (May-August 2027).
- Pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Operations Management.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Familiarity with relevant software and systems.
