About the role#
This internship supports the Reliability and Maintenance Department at our Longueuil manufacturing facility. You will work under the supervision of the Technical Manager to implement initiatives and best practices for equipment reliability and project management. Your primary objective is to assist the team in reaching 2027 production targets by collaborating with various departments to improve maintenance processes.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service to help reach production goals.
- Monitor special improvement projects directly on the shop floor.
- Develop, optimize, and standardize maintenance plans.
- Implement and introduce new maintenance procedures.
- Conduct weekly statistical analysis including MTBF, MTTR, and OEE.
- Evaluate alternatives for obsolete equipment with the production team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university for the duration of the internship.
- Current studies in Engineering, Operations and Production Management, or related fields.
- Advanced fluency in French, both spoken and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and OneNote.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The position is located on-site in Longueuil, Quebec.
- The internship term runs from January 5, 2027, to April 23, 2027.
- Work is performed Monday through Friday with flexible hours.
- Candidates must pass a criminal background check and obtain necessary authorizations for handling controlled goods.
