About the role#
This internship focuses on robotics and automation within the aeronautics manufacturing sector. You will work alongside specialists, engineers, and project managers to support automation operations, transformations, and strategies. The role involves providing technical assistance through analysis and improvements to production systems.
What you'll do#
- Conduct feasibility analysis.
- Develop and execute test plans.
- Draft technical documents and reports.
- Diagnose faulty systems.
- Implement continuous improvement solutions.
- Participate in the development of plans, specifications, and tender documents.
- Develop and industrialize production solutions.
- Investigate production issues and troubleshoot hardware, equipment, or software.
- Manage and coordinate incident responses.
- Create standard documentation models for equipment.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university throughout the internship.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Good knowledge of basic industrial robot concepts.
- Good knowledge of basic PLC and HMI programming.
- Excellent communication skills in French (spoken and written).
- Ability to work on-site.
Location & details#
- Location: Longueuil, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23, 2027).
- Modality: Full-time, on-site, Monday to Friday with flexible hours.
- This is a paid position.
