About the role#
The Financial Reporting team is seeking an accounting student to support our daily operations. You will gain hands-on experience in a professional environment while receiving guidance and maintaining autonomy in your tasks. This internship runs from January 5, 2027, to April 23, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the preparation of financial reports for monthly and quarterly performance reviews.
- Prepare monthly general ledger reconciliations.
- Execute journal entries within SAP and OneStream.
- Test and document internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX standards.
- Provide support for ad hoc requests from various business units.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university throughout the duration of the internship.
- Current pursuit of a degree in accounting, finance, or IT.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English, as you will interact with international colleagues and review technical documentation.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency with MS Office tools like Excel and PowerPoint.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role is based on-site at our Longueuil, Quebec facility.
- Work hours are Monday through Friday with flexible scheduling.
- Successful candidates must pass a background check and obtain necessary authorizations for handling controlled goods.
