About the role#
As a Finance Intern at Howmet Aerospace, you will gain practical experience by working directly with our finance team. You will contribute to real-world projects and develop skills to prepare you for a career in the field.
What you'll do#
- Assist in analyzing financial data, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Perform account reconciliations in Excel to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Prepare and post journal entries for financial transactions.
- Collaborate with the team to evaluate and optimize savings plans.
- Generate financial reports and presentations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist with special projects assigned by the Controller.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to obtain access to export-controlled items.
