About the role#
As a College Financial Representative, you will build a financial planning practice from the ground up. You will learn to manage your own business while receiving guidance and support from local and national experts. This internship allows you to develop professional skills and build a network while helping clients reach their financial goals.
What you'll do#
- Prospect and network to build a business and client base.
- Develop and execute a business strategy.
- Call on potential clients and set meetings to discuss their financial goals.
- Prepare plans and offer financial recommendations.
- Engage in weekly coaching, training, and development meetings.
What you'll need#
- Full-time student status, with a preference for juniors and seniors.
- Entrepreneurial ambitions and an interest in sales.
- Active involvement on campus, such as leadership roles or athletics.
- Excellent time-management skills.
- An interest in financial literacy and planning tools.
- Majors in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Marketing.
