About the role#
As a College Financial Representative, you will build a financial planning practice from the ground up. You will gain experience in the financial services industry, develop a professional network, and work with experts to help clients reach their financial goals. This role offers a flexible schedule to accommodate your classes and academic commitments.
What you'll do#
- Prospect and network to build your client base.
- Develop and execute a business strategy.
- Call potential clients to set meetings and understand their financial goals.
- Prepare plans and offer recommendations to clients.
- Engage in weekly coaching, training, and development meetings.
- Gain exposure to proprietary planning software.
What you'll need#
- You are a full-time student, preferably a junior or senior.
- You have entrepreneurial ambitions and an interest in sales.
- You are highly involved on campus, such as in student government, athletics, or other organizations.
- You have a strong interest in financial literacy and planning tools.
- You possess solid time-management skills and a desire to improve your critical thinking.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Finance, Economics, and Marketing.
Location & details#
- Location: Woodland Hills, California.
- Modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
- Compensation includes performance-based earnings, productivity bonuses, and learning incentives. The company provides support for insurance licensing and professional registrations including the SIE, Series 6, and Series 63.
