About the role#
This internship focuses on the design and engineering of External Component Control and Nacelle (ECN) systems. You will contribute to the Product Center Engineering team by validating engineering change requests and finding solutions alongside various internal and external groups. This role is a full-time, paid position based at our Longueuil research and development facility.
What you'll do#
- Learn and apply design steps to introduce engineering changes that reduce non-conformities.
- Address supplier requests related to ECN components, including sensors, pumps, tubes, electrical harnesses, and valves.
- Prepare and review documentation to ensure the conformity of materials, manufacturing processes, and technical tolerances.
- Collaborate with project engineers, material specialists, buyers, drafters, and customer support teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing processes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university throughout the internship period.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Proficiency with MS Office and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while working under pressure.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Working knowledge of both English and French to handle technical documentation and communicate with international stakeholders.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
Location & details#
- Location: Longueuil, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23, 2027).
- Modality: This position is exclusively on-site, Monday through Friday, with flexible hours.
- Requirements: The successful candidate must pass a criminal background check and obtain all necessary authorizations for the handling of controlled goods.
