About the role#
This internship places you within the Labour Relations team at Pratt & Whitney Canada. You will work under the guidance of an experienced group that manages labour relations matters across Quebec, Canada, and internationally. This role offers the opportunity to support the employer and its representatives while learning from a team dedicated to sharing its expertise.
What you'll do#
- Develop and organize the internal reference database for legal interpretation and collective agreements.
- Assist Labour Relations managers with disciplinary processes following internal investigations.
- Conduct research on points of law and analyze jurisprudence related to labour relations files.
- Participate in meetings with HR business partners and management to discuss labour relations topics.
- Structure and update the Labour Relations SharePoint site and internal company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of files for legal proceedings and attend representations before legal bodies.
- Help develop HR-IR training content and provide logistical support as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Canadian university throughout the duration of the internship.
- Pursuit of a degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources.
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Working knowledge of both French and English to handle technical documentation and international communications.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
Location & details#
- Location: Longueuil, Quebec.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23, 2027).
- Modality: This is a full-time, on-site position requiring presence at the Longueuil facility from Monday to Friday.
