About the role#
The SAP iXp Internship Experience Program offers an 8-month, full-time opportunity for students to contribute to our cloud infrastructure. You will work within a globally distributed team to support the SAP Cloud for Analytics platform. This role operates in a hybrid capacity based in Vancouver and focuses on maintaining service reliability and performance for our enterprise customers.
What you'll do#
- Provision, monitor, and operate cloud services as part of a global team.
- Analyze operational issues and respond to incidents to ensure system uptime.
- Conduct root cause analysis to implement continuous improvements to our services.
- Partner with local product development teams to design and enhance service features.
- Develop and improve automation tools for testing, deployment, scalability, and general service management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Applied programming skills in JavaScript, C++, Java, C, and SQL.
- Practical experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with source control systems such as GIT, Subversion, or Perforce.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with changing priorities.
