About the role#
The Human Resources Student supports our team with administrative coordination, recruitment, and employee experience initiatives. This role offers hands-on exposure to human resources practices within a construction environment. You will help build foundational knowledge while contributing to team efficiency and daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist with maintaining accurate employee records and HRIS data entry.
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including document collection, orientation scheduling, and checklist tracking.
- Help coordinate interviews, screening calls, and recruitment scheduling.
- Provide administrative support for HR initiatives, events, and employee programs.
- Support the preparation of internal HR communications, recognition initiatives, and employee engagement activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Ontario employment legislation, including the Employment Standards Act, Human Rights Code, and workplace policies.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.

- Compensation: $20-$23 per hour.
