About the role#
The Test Solutions Engineering team develops electrical solutions for complex systems. As an Electrical Engineer Intern, you will work on the full product lifecycle, supporting engineering labs and field operations. You will contribute to the design and integration of test systems while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and integrate test products for complex systems.
- Create test interface adapters, cabling, schematics, and detailed circuit designs.
- Build engineering and production test systems that meet cost and schedule goals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during development and implementation.
- Use equipment like oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and power meters for validation.
- Work independently or in a team to solve test product challenges.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, including Computer Science, Physics, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Knowledge of electrical components like resistors, capacitors, and transistors.
- Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.
- Experience with circuit design and analysis for analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
- Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or MATLAB.
- Skills in technical writing and delivering formal presentations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- An active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance.
