About the role#
The Display Products team is seeking an Electrical Engineering Co-op to join us for the Summer and Fall 2027 terms. You will work alongside experienced engineers to design and test hardware for commercial and military avionics as well as ground vehicles. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to product development while mentoring with team members and leading small projects.
What you'll do#
- Design, test, analyze, integrate, qualify, and document new electrical hardware.
- Develop and document changes to existing hardware designs.
- Collaborate with mechanical and systems engineering teams to ensure designs meet application requirements.
- Participate in cross-functional efforts regarding integration and product qualification.
- Implement updates to documented electrical designs.
- Support the generation and release of technical documentation.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering and actively enrolled through the end of the co-op.
- Experience with one or more of the following: Digital Electronics, Mixed Signal, Circuit Design or Analysis, Electrical Components, Digital Signal Processing, or PCB design.
- Experience using electronic test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, digital multimeters, and signal generators.
- Preferred: Experience with CAD layout software such as Siemens Expedition.
- Preferred: Familiarity with electrical hardware documentation or drawing standards.
- Preferred: Knowledge of display technologies including image processing, LCD drivers, graphics engines, or touch screens.
- Preferred: Prior internship, co-op, or work experience at RTX.
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by federal regulations.
