About the role#
The Digital Technology Vendor Management Office (VMO) manages supplier relationships and governance to support digital transformation initiatives. This Co-op role focuses on the end-to-end procurement process, including the creation and maintenance of purchase requisitions for software and contracted labor. You will work alongside the VMO and procurement teams to resolve issues and optimize internal processes.
What you'll do#
- Create, update, and close out purchase requisitions for Digital Technology goods and services.
- Research and resolve purchasing issues within Digital Technology areas.
- Support VMO project implementations and maintain communication forums.
- Develop and update process documentation regarding invoicing and requisitioning.
- Collaborate with internal departments to improve purchase requisition workflows.
- Assist in responding to VMO inquiries and concerns.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration, continuing through the Co-op term.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or Visio.
- Experience with project participation or management.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred: Experience with SAP, SAP Ariba, or SharePoint site administration.
- Preferred: Understanding of procurement principles and Statement of Work (SOW) tools.
- Preferred: Experience working in team environments and applying analytical skills to solve problems.
