About the role#
This internship provides exposure to digital technology skills and functions within an aerospace and defense environment. You will work alongside a Digital Technology team to deliver results for business-critical projects. This role involves collaboration across business, technology, and project management functions.
What you'll do#
- Deliver digital technology solutions for projects in areas such as cybersecurity, data science, enterprise business systems, infrastructure services, product management, software development, or user experience design.
- Work closely with your team to meet project goals and contribute to business outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate technology and process management in a professional setting.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related IT concentration.
- Active enrollment in your degree program through the completion of the internship.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Experience with data analytics or general IT infrastructure, gained through coursework, research, or previous projects.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
- Strong technical skills in areas like design, development, big data, or cybersecurity are preferred.
- Prior internship, co-op, or work experience at RTX is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate and take initiative.
