About the role#
This co-op position reports to the Quality Control Supervisors at our Oakville facility. You will focus on streamlining calibration, certification, and documentation control processes. You will also support 5S initiatives within our quality control areas.
What you'll do#
- Create standard work documents.
- Develop software for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Lead events to optimize workflows.
- Perform 5S optimization for both digital and physical workspaces.
- Participate in continuous improvement events.
- Handle other tasks as assigned by management.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing education in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
- Strong understanding of continuous improvement and lean techniques.
- Proficiency in all MS Office applications.
- Previous ERP experience, with a preference for SAP.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work different shifts.
