About the role#
As an Industrial Engineering Intern for the A220 pre-FAL (Final Assembly Line), you will contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing operations, specifically focusing on cost and schedule efficiency. You will work alongside Process Performance Engineers (PPE) to define standard line balancing based on industrial constraints and production rates. Your work will involve analyzing workstation performance, identifying critical paths, and documenting industrial strategies to support production rate increases.
What you'll do#
- Analyze key performance indicators to highlight trends and identify gaps relative to targets.
- Lead operational observations to identify production blockers and their root causes.
- Monitor project progress and communicate results to Autonomous Production Teams.
- Contribute to operational deliverables within the PPE team.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Computer, Aerospace, Biomedical, or Environmental Engineering).
- Advanced proficiency in French; English skills are considered an asset.
- A proactive, rigorous, and autonomous approach to tasks.
- Strong ability to observe, synthesize information, and solve problems.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.

- Term: Fall 2025 (starting September 8, 2025).
- Duration: 4 months.
- Modality: Hybrid (up to 2 days per week remote).
- Status: Paid, full-time internship.
