About the role#
This is a 9-week summer internship designed to provide hands-on experience within our Marketing department. You will work with teams focused on communications, agency services, branding, and data insights. The program includes professional development training, networking events, and a speaker series to help you build skills for your future career. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Support teams in planning and executing marketing, communication, and analyst initiatives.
- Perform competitive market analysis to identify new opportunities.
- Complete projects focused on branding, content creation, and social media marketing.
- Prepare and present your project work to team members.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage ad-hoc projects and tasks independently while meeting delivery deadlines.
What you'll need#
- Sophomore or junior standing pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in business, marketing, communications, economics, psychology, mathematics, sociology, or political science.
- A cover letter expressing your specific interest in Raymond James Marketing.
- Knowledge of business processes and basic project management concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual or hybrid environment.
- Strong initiative, problem-solving skills, and the ability to self-manage priorities.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Saint Petersburg, Florida, with a hybrid or remote work modality.
- The internship runs from June 2, 2027, through August 13, 2027.
- You will work up to 40 hours per week.
