About the role#
The Supply Chain Intern supports procurement, materials management, and supplier coordination for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction projects. This role provides practical experience in supplier sourcing, purchase order administration, and data analysis within a project-based environment.
What you'll do#
- Track and support project and procurement schedules.
- Organize and distribute Requests for Proposal and collect vendor responses.
- Review and compare vendor quotes and proposals.
- Coordinate with engineering and project teams to gather technical and commercial information for materials and equipment.
- Prepare and organize purchase orders, subcontracts, and related documentation.
- Maintain procurement and supplier tracking logs.
- Validate equipment and material quantities from engineering drawings.
- Track material deliveries and help resolve issues related to shortages or damages.
- Maintain professional communication with internal teams and external suppliers.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Logistics.
- Interest in supply chain, procurement, or EPC project environments.
- Basic understanding of purchasing, logistics, or materials management concepts.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
