About the role#
Cash Construction, a MasTec company, is seeking Construction Operations Interns for the Fall 2026 term. This role provides an opportunity to apply academic knowledge to professional projects related to project management, procedure development, and quality assurance. Interns will work under close supervision to support the operations team.
What you'll do#
- Perform project management functions including estimating, schedule planning, project controls, and project reporting.
- Complete special projects as assigned under close supervision.
- Interact with clients, managers, and employees with a high level of professionalism.
- Prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Maintain personal responsibility for health and safety by working toward Zero Injury principles.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program for project management, construction management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Environmental Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet-based program navigation.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow directions with precise execution.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
