About the role#
Cash Construction, a MasTec Company, is seeking Construction Operations Interns for the Fall 2026 term. This role supports the operations team across project management, procedure development, and quality initiatives. Interns will apply academic knowledge to professional construction projects under close supervision.
What you'll do#
- Perform project management functions including estimating, schedule planning, project controls, and reporting.
- Complete special projects as assigned under close supervision.
- Interact with clients, managers, and employees with a high level of professionalism.
- Prioritize tasks and manage numerous assignments simultaneously.
- Maintain personal responsibility for health and safety by working toward Zero Injury principles.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for project management, construction management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Environmental Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with internet-based program navigation.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow directions with precise execution.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional standards.
- Basic computer operation skills.
