About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in infrastructure, cybersecurity, help desk support, and enterprise systems. You will work within a mission-critical environment, supporting the technology systems that power energy operations.
What you'll do#
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
- Manage user accounts, including Active Directory tasks, password resets, and access provisioning.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
- Support cybersecurity initiatives such as phishing simulations, patching, and endpoint protection.
- Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades and infrastructure improvements.
- Document processes, procedures, and technical configurations.
- Support IT asset inventory and lifecycle management.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPNs.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
