About the role#
The Supply Chain Intern will support the Supply Chain and Project teams with procurement, materials management, and supplier coordination for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects. This role provides practical experience in supplier sourcing, purchase order administration, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
What you'll do#
- Assist with tracking project and procurement schedules.
- Support the creation and maintenance of bidder and supplier lists.
- Organize and distribute Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and collect vendor responses.
- Review and compare vendor quotes and proposals, including data entry and bid tabulation.
- Coordinate with engineering and project teams to gather technical and commercial information regarding materials and equipment.
- Prepare and organize purchase orders, subcontracts, and related documentation.
- Maintain procurement and supplier tracking logs and status reports.
- Validate equipment and material quantities from engineering drawings.
- Track material deliveries and assist with issue resolution for shortages or damages.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
- Interest in supply chain, procurement, or EPC project environments.
- Basic understanding of purchasing, logistics, or materials management concepts.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
