About the role#
Phi Group is hiring a Supply Chain Intern to join our Materials Department in Lafayette. This role supports the daily operations of our warehouse and logistics team. You will work under the supervision of the Stores and Transportation Supervisor to ensure aircraft parts and materials are handled according to company procedures.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Materials Specialist with daily warehouse tasks.
- Pack and unpack materials.
- Count and audit inventory in the warehouse to ensure accuracy.
- Perform limited data entry under specialist supervision.
- Keep the work environment clean, orderly, and safe.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good writing and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and handle freight items of various sizes and weights.
- Valid vehicle driver license.
- Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Business Administration.
- Previous warehousing experience is a plus.
