About the role#
As a Sustainability Reporting and Assurance intern, you will join our Assurance practice to help clients improve the credibility of their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) disclosures. You will support engagement teams, observe our professional methodologies, and contribute to projects that provide a foundation for your career.
What you'll do#
- Gather and analyze data related to ESG metrics.
- Help prepare sustainability reports that align with standards like GRI and TCFD.
- Assist in the evaluation of climate finance and nature finance mechanisms.
- Perform data modeling and analysis to identify ways to improve sustainability performance.
- Work with teams to conduct materiality assessments and prioritize key ESG issues.
- Observe experienced auditors to learn how we provide independent assessments.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Sustainable Resource Management, or Environmental Science.
- You maintain at least a 3.0 overall GPA.
- You are typically in the third year of a four-year degree program or the fourth year of a five-year program.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is on-site in Rosemont, Chicago, Boston, Detroit, or New York.
- Travel for this position may be required up to 20 percent of the time.
- We do not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
