About the role#
As a Connected Physical Products Intern, you will work within the Advisory practice to support software and product innovation projects. You will help teams develop new products and services from initial concepts through to commercialization. This role focuses on user interaction engineering and provides exposure to product innovation methodologies.
What you'll do#
- Support teams in the development and implementation of innovative product solutions.
- Participate in user interaction engineering projects to enhance client support services.
- Conduct research and gather information to assist in product customization and development.
- Create mock-ups and prototypes to demonstrate product design concepts.
- Develop user personas and conduct user research to inform design decisions.
- Use AngularJS and CSS to contribute to front-end web development tasks.
- Observe experienced professionals to learn about software and product innovation.
- Analyze workflows and identify areas for improvement.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree.
- Typically in your 3rd year of a 4-year program or 4th year of a 5-year program.
- Preferred fields of study include Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher.
- Preferred major GPA of 3.3 or higher.

- Compensation: This is a paid position with a salary range of $29.25 to $48.00 per hour, depending on skills, experience, and location.
