About the role#
Prudential is looking for interns to join the Enterprise Risk Management function for the summer of 2027. This program provides foundational knowledge in risk management and how it applies to our businesses. You will work on projects that help the company manage risk effectively and evaluate future challenges. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Newark, New Jersey, with a hybrid work schedule.
What you'll do#
- Gain foundational knowledge and skills in risk management.
- Understand the risks embedded in and across our various businesses.
- Work on impactful projects within the Financial Markets Risk Management team.
- Engage in risk quantification, risk constraints, credit analysis, and strategic review of sectors and trends.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited bachelor’s program with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is strongly preferred.
- Current US employment authorization, as we do not provide visa sponsorship.
- Strong written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, and Data Science.
