About the role#
This is an 8-week summer internship program for students interested in business systems and technology. You will gain hands-on experience supporting the systems that drive our life insurance business. You will work directly with team members to develop solutions for real business problems while participating in personal mentoring and professional development events.
What you'll do#
- Develop and enhance front-end, web-based internal tools with back-end database connections.
- Assist with the design, development, and implementation of user-facing applications and internal solutions.
- Support SQL database initiatives, including data management and interface development.
- Gather and document user requirements to shape new system interfaces and enhancements.
- Collaborate with team members to translate business needs into technical solutions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program as of May 31, 2027.
- Preference is given to rising Junior or Senior undergraduate students.
- Majors in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Science, Industrial Engineering, or similar fields.

- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- The program runs from May 31, 2027, to July 30, 2027.
- This role is based on-site at our corporate office in Birmingham, Alabama.
- Sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position.
