About the role#
Protective Life is seeking a Meetings & Events intern for the summer of 2027. This role focuses on the coordination of corporate events, from initial planning stages through on-site execution. You will work alongside professionals across the organization to deliver events and gain hands-on experience in the corporate hospitality space.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning and execution of corporate meetings and events.
- Assist with sourcing, contract negotiations, budgeting, and food and beverage coordination.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while using event planning software and business systems.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Attend professional development workshops and training sessions.
- Interact with company leaders and collaborate with peers from different departments.
- Participate in regular one-on-one meetings with a mentor to discuss your progress and career goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program as of May 31, 2027.
- Preference for undergraduate juniors and seniors.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail, ambition, and an adaptable approach to tasks.
- A genuine interest in hospitality.

- Term: Summer 2027 (May 31 to July 30).
- Modality: This is a full-time, on-site position.
- Compensation: This internship is paid.
