About the role#
This is a paid, full-time Construction Management internship for Summer 2027. You will work alongside project managers and superintendents to support construction projects from the design phase through completion. This role offers hands-on experience in a multi-disciplinary firm, including project site visits and mentorship.
What you'll do#
- Support the project team in meeting schedules and budgets.
- Help manage multiple projects while monitoring progress against scope and resources.
- Create project work scopes with leadership for bidding, pre-bid meetings, and post-bid interviews.
- Maintain construction schedules using Microsoft Project and coordinate with owners and subcontractors.
- Supervise construction activities and maintain daily field reports.
- Enforce OSHA requirements and promote safe work practices on the job site.
- Prepare, schedule, and supervise the completion of final punch lists.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited Construction Management Bachelor’s degree program.
- Completion of at least one year of undergraduate studies by Summer 2027.
- Basic knowledge of site safety and industry design trends.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly with others.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Teams is preferred.
