About the role#
Lionakis is seeking a Student Intern for the Summer 2027 Emerging Professionals program. This role is based in our Sacramento structural engineering studio. You will work on-site as part of our team to gain professional experience while supporting our ongoing projects.
What you'll do#
- Provide engineering support through calculations, spreadsheets, and computer analysis.
- Assist with construction documents using Revit and BIM software.
- Help coordinate the project design and construction process.
- Handle administrative tasks for the studio.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing an ABET-accredited degree in civil, architectural, or structural engineering.
- You have finished at least three years of college or university coursework.
- You maintain a 3.0 G.P.A.
- You have completed courses in engineering statics and mechanics.
- You can commute to our office in midtown Sacramento.
- Basic experience with Revit and MS Office programs is helpful but not required.

- This is a full-time, paid internship located in Sacramento, California.
- The hourly rate for this position is $25.
