About the role#
This is a paid, full-time summer internship for the 2027 season. You will join our structural engineering team to work on client projects alongside experienced mentors. The program includes project site visits, education sessions, and networking opportunities to help you build a foundation for your career.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to project teams to meet schedules and budgets.
- Manage multiple projects while monitoring progress against scope and resources.
- Perform structural analysis and provide drafting services consistent with company standards.
- Assist with design tasks and modeling assignments for various building types and materials.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and architects on design changes.
- Use design and analysis software like Revit, AutoCAD, RAM, and RISA for production and presentation.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an EAC/ABET-accredited Civil Engineering Bachelor’s program with a focus on structures.
- Completion of at least two years of undergraduate studies by Summer 2027.
- Strong analytical, math, design, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Basic knowledge of sustainability and design industry trends.
- Ability to communicate well with team members.
- Master’s degree enrollment, as well as experience in Revit, Project, SharePoint, and Teams, are preferred.
