About the role#
As a Material Program Management Intern, you will act as a liaison between the Supply Chain and Program teams. You will help execute material strategies from the start of a business contract through its final closure. This role is a full-time position during the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and implementation of material strategies.
- Conduct material forecasting.
- Ensure all cost and schedule requirements are met.
- Evaluate metrics to monitor the health of the Supply Chain.
- Support supplier assessments and the creation of ROMs or proposals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program in Supply Chain Management.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Experience with Supply Chain processes, tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred: Prior experience with RTX, work in a Defense Contracting environment, or familiarity with SAP/PRISM.
