About the role#
Pratt & Whitney is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Tucson, Arizona. You will work within the manufacturing discipline to support production operations and factory objectives.
What you'll do#
- Use company systems and tools to support manufacturing processes.
- Translate design requirements into actionable manufacturing steps.
- Support initiatives focused on cost, quality, schedule, and safety.
- Drive improvements to reduce defects, cycle time, and production costs.
- Provide feedback to the design community based on production experience.
- Spend time in and around factory areas to support direct manufacturing activities.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Experience with manufacturing engineering tools and processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
