About the role#
We are hiring two Student Hourly Assistants to join the Auxiliary Services team. This role supports the daily operations of the student center and provides essential services to the campus community. This is a part-time, on-site position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Greet customers at the front desk and over the phone to assist with their needs.
- Manage office documentation through scanning, copying, filing, and faxing.
- Issue ID cards to students, faculty, and staff, including taking photos for the cards.
- Monitor student washing facilities and the common lunch area.
- Support projects aimed at improving auxiliary services and student center operations.
- Handle other tasks as assigned by the department.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at Prairie View A&M University.
- For fall and spring terms, you must be enrolled in at least six undergraduate or nine graduate credit hours.
- For summer terms, you must be enrolled in at least three credit hours or be pre-registered for the upcoming fall semester.
- A minimum 2.0 GPA and good academic standing.
- No prior work experience is required for this position.
