About the role#
The School of Public and Allied Health at Prairie View A&M University is hiring a Graduate Assistant to support laboratory and research operations. This is a part-time position that assists with ongoing academic and scientific projects.
What you'll do#
- Support the computer lab with daily operations.
- Help develop and implement research projects.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data for research initiatives.
- Draft reports, manuscripts, and presentations for scientific publications and conferences.
- Assist in creating research protocols, study designs, and questionnaires.
- Maintain and update research databases.
- Monitor current academic literature within the field.
- Attend meetings and conferences to present research findings.
- Handle other operational tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree in an applicable field.
- Current enrollment as a full-time graduate student at Prairie View A&M University.
- Maintenance of at least 9 credit hours during fall and spring semesters, or 6 credit hours during the summer.
- Good academic standing.
