About the role#
The Graduate Assistant for Accreditation and Quality Improvement supports the Office of Institutional Research and Integrated Data Analytics. This role focuses on tracking, documenting, and articulating institutional compliance to external stakeholders. You will contribute to the university strategic framework by providing technical capacity for assessment and continuous quality improvement efforts.
What you'll do#
- Draft and edit technical reports for assessment and accreditation.
- Review institutional documentation to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with standards.
- Process and organize data for institutional reports using Excel and maintain data integrity.
- Create infographics, visual materials for presentations, and support the development of dashboards and visual analytics.
- Assist with basic statistical analyses and special projects as assigned.
- Provide light technical support and assist with general office operations.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
- Current enrollment as a full-time graduate student at Prairie View A&M University, maintaining good academic standing.
- Completion of at least 9 credit hours during fall and spring semesters, or 6 credit hours during the summer.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat or Photoshop.
- Strong written communication skills and a detail-oriented approach to work.
- Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools is preferred.
- Knowledge of statistical software like SPSS, STATA, or R is preferred.
- Previous research or data analysis experience is preferred.

- This position is located on-site in Prairie View, Texas.
- This is a part-time role.
- Employment is contingent upon a criminal history investigation and verification of credentials.
