About the role#
The Center for Instructional Innovation & Technology Services is hiring a Graduate Assistant to support campus computer labs and facility operations. This is a part-time, on-site position located in Prairie View, Texas. The role involves daily interaction with faculty, staff, and students to ensure the effective use of instructional technology.
What you'll do#
- Assist instructors and students during their time in computer labs.
- Manage Panther CIC facilities, including the audio and podcast studios.
- Oversee the checkout room operations.
- Connect and manage multiple Zoom sessions for classes and conferences.
- Configure A-V equipment for auditoriums and smart classrooms.
- Supervise undergraduate student workers in their daily tasks.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree in an applicable field.
- Current enrollment as a full-time graduate student at Prairie View A&M University.
- Good academic standing.
- Strong organizational, verbal communication, and multi-tasking skills.
