    About the role#

    The University of Cincinnati is seeking physicians for a Global Health Fellowship within the Department of Family and Community Medicine. This is a one or two year fellowship designed to help physicians care for underserved and vulnerable populations while building clinical and scholarly skills. Fellows serve as entry-level faculty members in the Division of Global and Underserved Health.

    What you'll do#

    • Provide primary care for underserved and immigrant or refugee patients for approximately 24 hours or more per week at a Cincinnati primary care location.
    • Work with international partners to improve their healthcare mission.
    • Spend four weeks per year working in-country with international partners.
    • Contribute to the academic mission of the Global and Underserved Health Division.
    • Teach residents and medical students.

    What you'll need#

    • A Medical Degree (MD or DO).
    • Current licensure by the State of Ohio Medical Board.
    • Completion of a U.S. ACGME-accredited three-year Family Medicine Residency program.
    • Foundational knowledge in global health.
